Summary:PURPOSE: A nucleotide sequence of threonine operon deregulated from isoleucine and a method for producing L-threonine using a transformed cell containing the same nucleotide sequence are provided. The transformed cell can produce high concentration of L-threonine regardless of the presence of isoleuicine. CONSTITUTION: A nucleotide sequence of threonine operon of Escherichia coli in which nucleotides at position -56 to -18 or a portion thereof are deleted is provided, wherein the nucleotide sequence of 39 bp-removed threonine operon of Escherichia coli is represented by SEQ ID NO: 2. A recombinant vector containing the nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 2 is provided, wherein a vector pECCG 122 obtained from KFCC 10696 is used; and the vector is pTHR(+). A transformed cell which is produced by transforming a host cell with the recombinant vector pTHR(+) is provided, wherein the host cell is Escherichia sp. or Corynebacterium; and the host cell is Escherichia coli KCCM 10236. A method for producing L-threonine comprises culturing the transformed cell and recovering L-threonine from the cultured medium. 본 발명은 트레오닌 오페론 염기서열에 관한 것으로서, 구체적으로는 대장균의 트레오닌 오페론 염기서열 중 -56∼-18 또는 그 일부분의 염기서열이 제거된 트레오닌 오페론 염기서열 및 상기 서열을 포함하는 재조합 벡터 및 이들 재조합 벡터로 형질전환된 형질전환 세포에 관한 것이며, 또한 상기 형질전환 세포를 배양하여 L-트레오닌을 고농도로 생산하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
