PURPOSE: A household appliance network system and a control method therefor are provided to interwork a plurality of household appliances connected through a network, and to reduce the load of each household appliance when a plurality of the household appliances interwork. CONSTITUTION: An active-type household appliance(M11) inputs a control command for controlling the first and second passive-type household appliances(S11,S12) connected to a network. The first and second passive-type household appliances(S11,S12) generates state information according to the control command transmitted through the network, and transmit state information to the network. A network management device(N) stores a list of the control command inputted by the active-type household appliance(M11), and transmits the control command to the first and second passive-type household appliances(S11,S12), so that the first and second passive-type household appliances(S11,S12) are controlled according to a control command order of the list. 본 발명은 가전기기 네트워크 시스템 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것으로써 사용자가 가정 내에 구축된 네트워크망과 연결된 복수개의 가전기기를 제어하기를 원하는 순서에 따라 제어명령을 설정하면 상기 제어명령의 목록이 상기 복수개의 가전기기로 제어명령을 전송할 수 있는 네트워크 관리수단에 저장되고 상기 네트워크 관리수단에서 전송된 제어명령에 따라 제어된 가전기기가 그 상태를 알리는 상태정보를 출력하고 상기 네트워크 관리수단이 상기 상태정보를 수신한 다음에 상기 제어명령 목록 상의 다음 제어명령을 가전기기로 전송함에 따라 가전기기에 걸리는 부담을 줄이는 동시에 간단하고 효율적으로 가전기기가 연동될 수 있도록 할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
