Summary:PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube is provided to allow for ease of assembly by improving the structure of flat electrode for emitting electron beams, and accuracy of deflection of electron beam, while reducing costs and installation space. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube(20) comprises a front panel(21), a rear panel(25), a wire cathode ray(26), and an electrode member. The front panel(21) includes a rear surface on which red, green and blue phosphors are deposited. The rear panel(25) is coupled to the rear surface of the front panel in such a manner that the space formed between the front panel and the rear panel is vacuumed. The wire cathode ray(26) is disposed on the rear panel in such a manner that the wire cathode ray is opposed to the phosphors and emits electron beams. The electrode member deflects the electron beam emitted from the wire cathode ray to the phosphors. The electrode member is a block electrode member(27) where electrodes are stacked and integrated. 본 발명에 의한 블록형 평판전극구조의 음극선관은 적색, 녹색, 청색의 형광체가 후면에 도포된 전면패널과, 상기 전면패널과의 사이가 진공되도록 상기 전면패널의 후면에 결합되는 후면패널과, 상기 형광체와 대항되도록 상기 후면패널에 위치되어 전자빔을 방사하는 와이어 음극선과, 상기 와이어 음극선에서 방사된 전자빔을 상기 형광체로 편향시키는 전극부재로 구성된 평판전극구조의 음극선관에 있어서, 상기 전극부재는 전극이 적층되어 일체화된 블록전극부재로 형성되어, 상기 음극선관의 크기와 상관없이 제작이 가능하고, 조립공정이 간단하며, 일체로 형성되어 자중이나 열에 의한 변형이 감소되어 생산성을 증가시킬 수 있고, 품질을 향상시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
