PURPOSE: A system and method for supplying a prepayment point through the Internet is provided to calculate a point based on commodity purchase data or potential purchase data when the member purchases a commodity in a shopping mall, and supply the calculated point to the member. CONSTITUTION: A web server system(40) stores and manages data and connects a client to an operator system(30) through an Internet communication network(20). An operating server system(35) operates a prepayment point supply service. A member database(45) stores data of members. A shopping mall database(47) stores data with respect to a commodity and a service. The data with respect to the commodity and service are combined with a point supplied according to each commodity and service. If the member purchases a commodity or a service promptly or expectantly, the operating server system(35) calculates the total point based on the purchase data. If the member inputs an expectant purchase period, the total points are divided into the expectant purchase period. A server system(50) of a credit card company receives and stores point data of the member, processes points of each member, and subtracts an amount of money corresponded to the points from credit card payment money of the member.
