Summary:PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a copper or copper alloy ingot having a purity of 99.9999 wt.% or more with no shrinkage cavity are provided. CONSTITUTION: In a copper or copper alloy ingot manufacturing apparatus comprising a cooling support(4), a mold(1) installed on the cooling support, and a heating furnace(2) for heating the circumference of the mold, the apparatus is characterized in that the heating furnace is controlled to obtain such a temperature gradient that temperature is increased from the bottom part of the mold to the upper side of the mold. The method comprises the steps of heating the mold of heating furnace so that the heating furnace obtains such a temperature gradient that temperature is increased from the bottom part of side wall of the mold to the upper side of the mold; and injecting a copper or copper alloy melt into a mold on the bottom part of which a cooling support is installed. 수축기공이 없고 주름이 없는 매끄러운 표면을 가진 구리 또는 구리합금 잉곳을 제조하는 방법 및 장치, 특히 수축기공이 없고 주름이 없는 매끄러운 표면을 가진 순도:99.9999중량%이상의 구리 또는 구리합금 잉곳을 제조하는 방법 및 장치를 제공한다. 몰드의 측벽이 바닥부로부터 위쪽을 향해 고온으로 되는 온도구배를 가지도록 가열시켜 두고, 또한 바닥부에 냉각 받침대를 설치한 몰드에, 구리 또는 구리합금 용탕을 주입하고, 그 용탕을 일방향 응고시키는 방법, 및 냉각 받침대(4)와, 냉각 받침대(4) 위에 위치한 몰드(1)와, 그리고 몰드(1)의 주위에 설치된 가열로(2)를 가지고, 상기 가열로(2)는 몰드의 바닥부로부터 위쪽을 향해 고온으로 되는 온도구배를 가지도록 가열제어할 수 있다.
