Summary:PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a multi-stage compression-type rotary compressor is provided to reduce costs by avoiding the replacement of parts, easily set an appropriate displacement volume ratio while preventing the compressor from being increased in size. CONSTITUTION: A multi-stage compression-type rotary compressor(10) comprises an electrical-power element(14) and first and second rotary compression elements(32,34) driven by the electrical-power element in a sealed vessel. The multi-stage compression-type rotary compressor discharges a refrigerant gas compressed in the first rotary compression element and compresses the discharged refrigerant gas of intermediate pressure in the second rotary compression element. The multi-stage compression-type rotary compressor has cylinders(38,40) constituting the second rotary compression element; rollers(48) fitted to eccentric portions formed on a rotary shaft of the electrical-power element so as to eccentrically revolve in the cylinders; vanes(50,52) dividing the inside of the cylinder into a low-pressure chamber and a high-pressure chamber; a back pressure chamber for always supporting the vane on a roller side; a communication path(100) communicating a refrigerant discharge side of the second rotary compression element and the back pressure chamber to each other; and a pressure adjustment valve for adjusting a pressure applied to the back pressure chamber through the communication path. In a manufacturing method of the multi-stage compression-type rotary compressor, an inner diameter of the first cylinder is altered without altering the thickness, and a displacement volume ratio between the first and second rotary compression elements is set in accordance with the alteration. 부품의 변경을 억제하여 비용을 삭감하고, 또한 컴프레서의 치수 확대를 방지하면서 최적의 배제 용적비를 용이하게 설정할 수 있는 다단 압축식 로터리 컴프레서의 제조 방법을 제공한다. 다단 압축식 로터리 컴프레서(10)의 제조 방법은 하부 실린더(40)의 두께(높이) 치수를 변경하지 않고, 당해 하부 실린더(40)의 내경(D1)을 변경함으로써, 제1 회전 압축 요소(32)와 제2 회전 압축 요소(34)의 배제 용적비를 최적값으로 설정한다. 즉 제2 회전 압축 요소의 배제 용적을, 제1 회전 압축 요소의 배제 용적의 40% 이상 75% 이하로 설정한다.
