PURPOSE: An input device is provided to simplify constitution by reducing the number of parts, to reduce the thickness, and to reduce the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: An input device comprises at least one primary electrode(2) and plural secondary electrodes(3). The electrodes are formed in the same plane, and a position of an electric conductor(8) disposed on a surface side of the electrodes is identified on the basis of differences in electrostatic capacity between the primary electrode and the secondary electrodes. Electrostatic capacity is changed by the electric conductor. A first insulating layer(1) is formed on surfaces of the both electrodes to constitute an operating surface. A grounding layer(5) is formed on a back surface side of the both electrodes with a second insulating layer. 본 발명은, 구성이 간단하고 박형인데도 불구하고 소형이며 게다가 값싸게 제작 가능한 입력장치를 제공하는 것으로서, 이를 위한 수단으로서, 적어도 하나의 1차 전극(2)과 복수의 2차 전극(3)을 동일면 내에 형성한다. 양 전극의 표면측에 위치하는 도전체(8)에 의해 변화되는 상기 1차 전극(2)과 상기 2차 전극(3)간의 정전용량의 차이에 의거하여 상기 도전체(8)의 위치를 특정한다.
