PURPOSE: An oil separator of a screw compressor is provided to perfectly separate and recover refrigerating oil from mixed fluid of refrigerating oil and refrigerant vapor. CONSTITUTION: An oil separator comprises a steel wool filter comprising steel wool(2) stored between a plurality of porous tubes(1); an L-shaped discharge tube assembly(3) formed to penetrate a point on a lower part of the steel wool filter; a V-shaped vertical baffle plate(4) formed on an upper part of the discharge tube assembly; an upside-down V-shaped horizontal baffle plate formed on a lower part of the discharge tube assembly; and a distance sleeve(6) and a stud bolt(7) formed to assemble the steel wool filter, the discharge tube assembly and the baffle plates into an oil separator housing(8). 본 발명은 저압의 냉매 가스를 고압으로 압축하는 스크류 냉매 압축기의 오일 분리기에 관한 것으로, 상세하게는 냉매 가스의 흐름을 변화시켜서 냉동 오일을 분리하는 L자형 토출관 조립체와 상 방향으로의 수직 구배에 의하여 냉동 오일을 분리하는 V자형 수직 배플 플레이트와 냉동 오일을 여과하는 스틸 울 필터의 3단계 오일 분리 기구에 의하여 냉동 오일과 냉매 가스의 혼합 유체로부터 냉동 오일을 완벽하게 분리 회수하도록 구성되는 오일 분리기에 관한 것이다.
