PURPOSE: Provided are compositions for regeneration of grovel filter media and regeneration method of gravel filter media using the same, the composition being capable of completely removing pollutants in the gravel filter media, thereby allowing the gravel filter media to be semi-permanently used. CONSTITUTION: Biocide and oil remover composition is consisted of potassium hydroxide 35-50 wt%, isothiazoline 15-25 wt%, sodium hydroxide 7-20 wt%, and 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid 7-15 wt%. Scale remover composition is consisted of sulfur amid acid 20-35 wt%, sodium-tolyl-triazole 10-15 wt%, polyoxy-ethylene-alkylether 10-25 wt%, and 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid 20-35 wt%.
