PURPOSE: A polarizing plate, a manufacturing method thereof, and a liquid crystal display apparatus are provided to prevent dyeing stain by dyeing the polyvinyl alcohol film with stirring solution in a dyeing bath at temperatures of 15-50 deg.C below. CONSTITUTION: A polyvinyl alcohol film is dyed with the dyeing solution including bicolor iodine or dyes, and cross-linked with the cross-linking agent. A polarizing plate is manufactured by elongating the polyvinyl alcohol film and drying during process, and mounting protecting layers at both sides or one side. The density of bicolor dye or iodine is over 0.02 wt% in the dyeing bath, and the temperature of the dyeing bath is 15-50 deg.C. The elongation rate of the dyeing bath is less than five times, and the polyvinyl alcohol film is dyed with agitating the solution in the dyeing bath. The dyeing bath contains iodides of 0.01-15 wt% and the cross-linking agent of 2-10 wt%. 염색 얼룩에 기인하는 표시 얼룩이 개선된 LCD에 사용하는 편광판을 제공한다. 폴리비닐알콜(PVA) 필름을 염색할 때, 2색성의 성질을 갖는 염료 또는 요오드의 농도가 0.02wt% 이상인 염색욕에서, 염색욕의 온도가 15℃ 이상 50℃ 이하, 욕중에서의 연신배율이 5배 이하이며, 또한 욕중의 욕액을 교반시키면서 염색시킨다.
