PURPOSE: A receiving apparatus for a power line communication is provided to reduce a defective proportion and improve productivity by reducing the number of components and simplifying its composition. CONSTITUTION: A signal input unit(50) receives an RF(Radio Frequency) signal modulated by a carrier transmitted through a commercial power line, cancels a commercial power frequency, and amplifies the RF signal at a desired level. In case that the level of the amplified RF signal of the signal input unit(50) is greater than a certain setup value, a level limiting unit(60) blocks the amplified signal. A comparing unit(70) outputs a signal according to the output signal of the level limiting unit(60). 본 발명은 전력선 통신용 수신 장치에 관한 것으로서, 상용 전력선을 통해 전송되는 반송파에 의해 변조된 고주파 신호를 수신하여 상용 주파수 제거후 원하는 레벨로 증폭하는 신호 입력부와, 상기 신호 입력부에서 증폭된 신호의 레벨이 소정의 설정치 이상인 경우 상기 증폭 신호를 차단하는 레벨 제한부와, 상기 레벨 제한부에서 상기 증폭 신호가 출력되면 그 신호에 따른 출력 신호가 발생되는 비교부로 구성되어, 전력선 통신용 수신 장치의 부품 수를 줄임으로써 구성이 간소화되어 가격 경쟁력을 높힐수 있을뿐만 아니라 제품의 불량율이 감소되어 생산성이 높아지며, 신호 입력부에서 신호의 증폭률을 조정할 수 있기 때문에 효과적으로 증폭할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
