PURPOSE: A learning support system is provided to continuously learn by exchanging information such as learning results of users among a plurality of terminals through a learning management server on a network. CONSTITUTION: An information processing apparatus(1), a portable information terminal(4), and a learning management server(3) are connected through a network. The information processing apparatus(1) has a memory unit(15) for storing first learning information including the result of learning. The portable information terminal(4) has a memory unit(45) for storing second learning information including the result of learning at the portable information terminal(4). The learning management server(3) has a memory unit(33) for storing first learning information transferred from the information processing apparatus(1) and second learning information transferred from the portable information terminal(4). The information processing apparatus(1) or the portable information terminal(4) carries out continuous learning after learning information of other party is acquired through the memory unit(33). 학습 지원 시스템은 정보 처리 장치, 휴대 정보 단말기 및 학습 관리 서버를 구비하고, 정보 처리 장치, 휴대 정보 단말기 및 학습 관리 서버는 네트워크를 통해 접속되어 있다. 정보 처리 장치는 학습한 결과를 포함하는 제1 학습 정보를 기억하는 제2 기억부를 구비하고, 휴대 정보 단말기는 휴대 정보 단말기를 이용하여 학습한 결과를 포함하는 제2 학습 정보를 기억하는 제4 기억부를 구비하고, 학습 관리 서버는 정보 처리 장치에서 전송된 제1 학습 정보 및 휴대 정보 단말기로부터 전송된 제2 학습 정보를 기억하는 제5 기억부를 구비하고 있다. 정보 처리 장치 또는 휴대 정보 단말기는 제5 기억부를 통해 상대방의 학습 정보를 취득한 후에, 학습을 계속하여 행한다.
