PURPOSE: A device for injecting cooling water of a cylinder head having a solenoid valve is provided to improve engine output, prevent the generation of noxious gas, and improve the durability of an engine. CONSTITUTION: A device for injecting cooling water is installed at a cooling water raising passage, which is induces the cooling water from a water jacket(13) of a cylinder block(12) to a water jacket(15) of a cylinder head(14), to guide the flow direction of the cooling water to a high heat part of the cylinder head. A raising hole(32) is formed to penetrate the upper and the lower parts of a body(31) of the injecting device. An injection hole(34) connected to a side of the raising hole to induce the cooling water to the high heat part of the cylinder head. A 3-way solenoid valve(40) is mounted to the crossed part of the raising hole and the injection hole and controlled by an ECU(electronic control unit). The 3-way solenoid valve cuts off a connection passage, connecting the water jacket of the cylinder block and the water jacket of the cylinder head, at the cold starting of the engine, induces the flow direction of the cooling water to the high heat part in the case that the engine is in the high load field and is driven for a long time, and induce the flow direction of the cooling water to the upper side when the engine is driven in the low load field.
