PURPOSE: A cigarette igniter for a vehicle is provided to reduce traffic accidents by making a driver easily ignite a cigarette and reducing time to ignite a cigarette. CONSTITUTION: A cigarette igniter for a vehicle comprises a case(10) having a space for housing cigarettes, a discharge hole(10b) housing a cigarette so as to move longitudinally , an elastic unit(11) to arrange cigarettes by elastic force, an igniter unit(12) giving heat to the combustion end of a cigarette input in the discharge hole, a transferring unit(13) of transferring a cigarette to the igniter unit, a discharge unit of moving by a hinge to the back of the direct bottom of the discharge hole, a switch unit(14) of supplying power source to the igniter unit, the transferring unit, and a drive unit and operating, and a control unit of shutting off power source supplied to the igniter unit and simultaneously operating the drive unit if ignition time of the ignition unit reaches the predetermined time after operating the transferring unit. Therefore, ignition of a cigarette is easily performed and traffic accidents cause by cigarette ignition is prevented.
