Summary: | PURPOSE: Provided is a simple preparation method of unary and multicomponent oxide powders which have nano size, high purity, a homogeneous composition in metal doping and low sintering temperature by ignition reaction. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of unary(MaOx), binary(MaMbOx), ternary(MaMbMcOx), and multicomponent(MaMb...MnOx) powders, where M is metal, O is oxygen, and a, b, c, n and x are stoichiometric ratios of oxides, is as follow: (i) dissolving stoichiometric amount of raw materials, metallic salts such as oxides, nitrates, carbonates and hydroxides of metals(M) such as Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Ti, Cr, etc., into 0.1-5M HNO3; (ii) adding an organic acid such as malic acid, maleic acid, citric acid or critic acid to get precursors; (iii) adding NH4OH to adjust the pH of the solution between 3-9; (iv) ignition reacting the solution at 200-500deg.C for precursor powders; (v) calcining and sintering. |
