PURPOSE: A system and a method for searching skin disease data are provided to search easily skin disease data by connecting questions and data according to categories of diseases with images. CONSTITUTION: An image input portion(4) is used for scanning and inputting a skin disease image(2) by using a film scanner. An image correction portion(6) is used for retouching the inputted skin disease image(2). An image detection portion(8) is used for checking a state of the skin disease image(2) corrected by the image correction portion(6). A data input portion(10) is used for inputting text data of the skin disease image(2) or key values according to each category. An output portion(12) includes a printer for printing documents. A display portion(14) outputs the skin disease image(2) or data related to the skin disease image(2). A control portion(18) is used for matching the index values to key values, storing the matched data into a database(16), and reading data from the database(16).
