PURPOSE: A valve rotator is provided to be manufactured by a simple and low priced method through forming a main body and a cover with reshaped metal components. CONSTITUTION: A valve rotator for producing rotations of a gas exchanging valve in an internal combustion engine during opening and closing movements thereof is composed of a main body(1) having a plurality of pockets(2) oriented in a peripheral direction for receiving rolling bodies. A valve shaft is disposed in the main body. In addition, a plurality of rolling bodies and a plurality of tangential springs hold the plurality of rolling bodies adjacent to the plurality of pockets on the main body. A cover(5) serves as a valve spring support and force transmitter or energy reservoir for each of the valve rotations, and the main body and the cover consist of reshaped metal components.
