Summary: | PURPOSE: An ADSL splitter apparatus and a distributing method are provided to reduce an expense of a high-priced interlayer cable distribution expense and a pipework expense by adopting a separate splitter and splitter terminal board. CONSTITUTION: A DSLAM(Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer,1) is an ADSL transmission equipment installed in a transmission chamber, and a main distribution frame 2 is installed at a testing chamber. As an ADSL signal(voice signal + data signal) is connected from a line number side terminal(3) to a jumper wire and to a terminal block(16) of an ADSL splitter terminal board(15), and passes through a separate splitter(17) positioned at a lower portion of the ADSL splitter terminal board(15), the voice signal and the data signal are separated into two contact points. At this time, the data signal is transmitted to a cable between ADSL transmission self(13) in the DSLAM(1) and the voice is transmitted to an office cable(4) at the side of an exchange connected to a mechanic side terminal board(5). A splitter base(29) of the ADSL splitter terminal board(15) may be constructed by the unit of 128 lines or 64 lines, as many as the receiving line number of the mechanic terminal board(5) which is currently used and fabricated with the same size to be mounted. A plurality of line guide holes are formed at an upper and lower side of a mounting unit(30) of the splitter base(29) mounted in the main distribution frame(2) in order to prevent confusion with respect to the line number in connecting a jumper/cable among the line number side terminal board(3), mechanic side terminal board(5) and a DSLAM transmission self(13). A plurality of modulized IDC type terminal blocks(16) are coupled at an upper portion thereof. An insertion hole is formed at a lower portion of the terminal block(16), into which a separate splitter(17) is inserted. |
