PURPOSE: Provided is an electricity generating system for home use, which can prevent the generation of electricity from stopping by supplying spare fuel for a fixed time when a common power and a fuel are not supplied. CONSTITUTION: The electricity generating system for home use contains a stack(1) for generating electricity, a fuel supply line(3) for supplying the fuel to the stack(1), the common power(2) for supplying electricity when the electricity is not generated in the stack(1), a spare fuel supply means for supplying the spare fuel to the stack(1), and a control part(4), wherein the spare fuel supply means comprises a fuel storing tank(43) mounted on a branched line(42) of the fuel supply line(3) and storing the fuel sparely, a pump(44) for pumping the fuel of the fuel supply line(3) to the fuel storing tank(43), and an emergency valve(45) for supplying the spare fuel to the stack(1) when emergency.
