Summary:PURPOSE: A drum brake device is provided to prevent a holding unit of a shoe from being damaged and to keep the performance of a brake stably for a long time by enlarging the intermediate portion of the brake. CONSTITUTION: A drum brake apparatus prevents damage of a holding mechanism of a shoe by securing the larger space at the central region of a brake, and achieves long effective and stable function of the brake. A bypass hole(60d), through which a shoe-hold pin(41) is freely penetrating, is formed in a brake lever(60) positioned beneath a shoe web(20b) of the brake shoe, and a stopper portion(60e) contacting a shoe rim is formed on the brake lever to avoid the collision between the shoe-hold pin and the bypass hole when the brake lever is in operation. 본 발명은 브레이크 중앙부가 넓은 공간을 확보하고, 더욱이 슈 홀드 기구를 손상시키지 않고 안정된 브레이크 기능을 장기간 유지하는 드럼 브레이크 장치를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 브레이크 슈(20)의 슈 웨브(20b)에 중합되어 배설되는 브레이크 레버(60)에 슈 홀드 핀(41)이 유동 가능하게 삽입 관통되는 도출 구멍(60d)을 천설하고, 또한, 브레이크 레버(60)의 동작시에 그 도출 구멍(60d)이 슈 홀드 핀(41)에 충당되지 않도록, 슈 림(20a)에 충당되는 스토퍼부(60e)를 브레이크 레버(60)에 형성한다.
