Summary:PURPOSE: An ink jet recording device is provided to arrange various without making the whole device larger and more complicated. CONSTITUTION: Within a housing(16), an ink supplier(32) supplying ink from a side(26S) of a sub ink tank(26) and a maintenance device(40) doing maintenance movement from a base(28B) of an ink jet recording head(28) are installed in one side of a moving direction of a carriage(22). Furthermore, a main tank(34) and a discharge ink tank(42) are installed in the other side of the moving direction of the carriage. Opening the front panel(44) of a housing(10) makes it possible to exchange the main tank(34) and the discharge ink tank. A box-shaped tray(50) is overlapped downward the housing(16) and each tray is drawn to the same direction as the moving direction of the carriage. 잉크젯 기록 장치의 하우징 내에는 캐리지의 이동 방향 일단측에 서브 잉크 탱크의 측면으로부터 잉크를 보급하는 잉크 보급 장치와, 잉크젯 기록 헤드의 저면으로부터 메인티넌스 동작을 하는 메인티넌스 장치가 설치되어 있다. 캐리지의 이동 방향 일단측에 메인 잉크 탱크 및 배출 잉크 탱크가 설치되어 있다. 메인 잉크 탱크 및 배출 잉크 탱크를 교환하기 위해서는 하우징의 앞면 패널을 개방한다. 하우징의 아래쪽에는 트레이가 상하에 중첩되어 배치되어 있다. 각 트레이의 인출 방향은 캐리지의 이동 방향과 동일하다.
