Summary:PURPOSE: A belt pulley aligning mechanism is provided to precisely align belt pulleys and to prevent the breakage of a belt of pulleys by aligning the belt pulleys in more than two rows. CONSTITUTION: A belt pulley aligning mechanism includes a reference part(12), an aligning part(14), and many contact parts(16). To make the contact parts contact to the outer face of a reference pulley(1), the reference part is placed on the outer face of the reference pulley. The contact parts contact to a groove between the pitches of the reference pulley. If the standard part is rotated, the contact parts contact to the groove between the pitches of an aligned pulley(3). The fixing position of the aligned pulley is adjusted to make annular protrusions of cylindrical members precisely contact to the groove between the pitches depending on the contact degree of the contact parts and the groove. After the pulleys are aligned, belts are installed on the pulleys.
