Summary:PURPOSE: A method and a device for detecting a generation position of an interactive modulation distortion signal of a communication high frequency component are provided to enhance the amount and quality of a call by manufacturing a coaxial cable assembly and an adapter based on exactly calculated data and a measuring result, forming a level the same as an interactive modulation distortion signal being generated in a DUT(Device Under Text), making a null point be generated, making the generated null point be used in calculation of a generation position of an interactive modulation distortion signal, and detecting an exact interactive modulation distortion signal source, thereby suppressing an interference problem in a communication system. CONSTITUTION: The first signal generation source(10) generates an "f1" frequency and the second signal generation source(30) generates an "f2" frequency. The "f1" frequency is amplified by the first high power amplifier(20) and the "f2" frequency is amplified by the second high power amplifier(40). The "f1" frequency and the "f2" frequency are synthesized by a combiner(50) and inputted in a Tx end of a duplexer(60) and outputted to an antenna end. An adapter(70) is connected to the antenna terminal after adjusting a level of an interactive modulation distortion signal. The signal passed the adapter(70) is applied to a DUT(90) having a predetermined port through a system cable(80) for a jumper. A termination load(100) which is adjusted into a low interactive modulation distortion signal level and consumes an energy is connected to the DUT(90). At this time, an interactive modulation distortion signal is generated between the adapter(70) and the DUT(90) by the "f1" frequency and the "f2" frequency.
