PURPOSE: An aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane resin and an aqueous adhesive containing the aqueous dispersion are provided, which adhesive is improved in the adhesive strength and the heat resistance and can be used at a reactivation temperature of 50-60 deg.C after coating it on a substrate owing to a long tack-free time. CONSTITUTION: The aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane resin comprises an organic polyisocyanate; a polyester polyol containing an aromatic sulfonic acid metal salt group; an aliphatic polyol containing no aromatic sulfonic acid metal salt group and having a hydroxy value of 10-350; and at least one polyamine and a polyol having a molecular weight of 300 or less. The content of the aliphatic polyol is at least 55 wt.% based on the weight of the solid component of the polyurethane resin. Preferably the polyester polyol containing an aromatic sulfonic acid metal salt group is obtained by using a polycarboxylic acid and/or a cyclic ester containing no sulfonate as a reactant. 본 발명은 (A)유기 폴리이소시아네이트; (B)방향족 설폰산 금속염의 기를 함유하는 폴리에스테르 폴리올; (C)방향족 설폰산 금속염을 함유하지 않고 또한 수산기가(hydroxy value)가 10~350인 지방족 폴리올; 및 (D) 각각 분자량 300이하의 폴리아민 및 폴리올 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 조성물로부터 얻을 수 있는 폴리우레탄 수지의 수성 분산체로서, 상기 지방족 폴리올 단위(C)의 함량은 상기 폴리우레탄 수지의 고형분에 대하여 적어도 55중량%이다. 또한, 본 발명은 상기 폴리우레탄 수지의 수성 분산체를 함유하는 수성 접착제이다.
