Summary:PURPOSE: Particulate air contaminants entrained in flue gas are adsorbed on the surface of ceramic fiber filter doped with photocatalyst such as TiO2(anatase), TiO2(rutile), ZnO, and V2O3, and gases air contaminants including NOx, SOx, VOC, and odorous compounds are decomposed by free radical while passing through the ceramic fiber filter. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic fiber filter(1) doped with photocatalyst is installed inside the equipment to remove particulate and gases air contaminants. A venturi type weight(2) that is positioned at the upper part of the ceramic fiber filter is used when rapping the filter. A pair of electrodes(4)(4') is located at the both end sides of the ceramic fiber filter to supply electric current and is connected to power supplies(7). Pollutant laden gas being introduced into the equipment through an inlet port(5) is vented out after passing through the ceramic fiber filter.
