Summary: | PURPOSE: Snubber circuit and power transformer using the same are provided to efficiently suppress a voltage ringing at a time of a turn-off of a switch element while keeping an energy loss to a sufficiently low level. CONSTITUTION: A primary side smoothing capacitor(C1) smoothes a full wave rectified voltage applied thereacross. A converter transformer(T1) includes a primary coil and a secondary coil. A switch element(SW1) is formed by a transistor and connected in series to the primary coil of the converter transformer(T1) to be switched on and off for a power transformation control. A rectifying diode(D1) is connected at an anode thereof to an end of the secondary coil of the converter transformer(T1). A choke coil(L1) is connected in series to a cathode of the rectifying diode(D1). In other words, the choke coil(L1) is indirectly connected to the secondary coil of the converter transformer(T1) through the rectifying diode(D1). The choke coil(L1) functions as a smoothing magnetic substance by storing energy at a time of a turn-on of the switch element(SW1) and releasing the energy at a time of a turn-off of the switch element(SW1). A commutating diode(D2) is connected to a connecting portion of the rectifying diode(D1) and the choke coil(L1). The commutating diode(D2) functions as a diode which releases the energy stored in the choke coil(L1). A secondary side smoothing capacitor(C2) is connected in parallel to the choke coil(L1) and the secondary coil of the converter transformer(T1).
본 발명은 커패시터와 다이오드로 구성된 제 1의 직렬 회로 및 코일과 다이오드로 구성된 제 2의 직렬 회로를 구비한다. 제 1의 직렬 회로는 커뮤테이션 다이오드(commutating diode)에서 커패시터가 초크 코일에 접속된 상태로 커뮤테이션 다이오드에 병렬로 접속되고, 제 2의 직렬 회로는 제 1의 직렬 회로의 커패시터 및 다이오드의 접속부와, 초크 코일의 커뮤테이션 다이오드의 비-접속측 사이에 접속된다. |
