Summary:PURPOSE: An antifungal agent containing tourmaline and a pharmaceutically acceptable ointment base as an active component is provided. It has an activity sufficient to be used as antifungal agent such that it can be used as an external application on infection of skin, vagina, hair or the like. CONSTITUTION: The antifungal agent comprises tourmaline selected from elbaite or dravite, a pharmaceutically acceptable ointment base and a compound capable being used as an external agent. The content of tourmaline is 0.05 to 1g, based on 1g ointment base. The compound is one or more selected from flutrimazole, terbinafine, amorolfine, ciclopirox, nystatin, butenafine, miconazole, bifonazole, neticonazole, tolnaftate, sulconazole, candicidin, clotrimazole, ketoconazole, fluconazole, voriconazole, itraconazole, econazole and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
