Summary:PURPOSE: Provided is an environment-friendly, economic, technically reliable, and cost-effective process for preparing azo colorants by the azo coupling reaction. The process is universally suitable for the preparation both of azo pigments and of azo dyes, provides optimum mixing of the reactants, is combinable where appropriate with the measures known in connection with the preparation of azo colorants, such as the use of solvents or auxiliaries; permits the desired process parameters to be maintained very constantly and allows easy scale up. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing azo colorants comprises: spraying one or more coupling components individually or in a mixture and one or more couplable diazonium salts individually or in a mixture, in their solution or suspension form through nozzles to a point of conjoint collision in a reactor chamber enclosed by a housing in a microjet reactor; passing a gas or an evaporating liquid into the reactor chamber through an opening in the housing for the purpose of maintaining a gas atmosphere in the reactor chamber; and removing the resulting product solution or suspension and the gas or the evaporated liquid from the reactor through a further opening in the housing by means of overpressure on the gas entry side or underpressure on the product and gas exit side. 본 발명은 용액 또는 현탁액 형태의, 하나 이상의 커플링 성분들 각각 또는 이들의 혼합물 및 하나 이상의 상용성 디아조늄 염들 각각 또는 이들의 혼합물을 노즐을 통해 마이크로제트(microjet) 반응기에서 하우징(housing)에 의해 둘러싸인 반응실내의 공동 충돌 지점으로 분사하는 단계; 기체 또는 증발성 액체를 하우징의 개구부를 통해 반응실 안으로 통과시킴으로써 반응실내 기체 대기를 유지시키는 단계; 및 기체 유입구 쪽에 과압을 가하거나 또는 생성물 및 기체 유출구 쪽에 감압을 걸어 생성된 생성물의 용액 또는 현탁액, 및 상기 기체 또는 증발된 액체를 하우징의 다른 개구부를 통해 반응기로부터 제거하는 단계를 포함하는 아조 착색제의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
