Summary:PURPOSE: A railway car is provided to reduce the noise generated at the connecting portion between the car body and the passenger cabin. CONSTITUTION: A railway car comprises two cross beams, a base plate(23) mounted between the two cross beams, a bolster(25) positioned below the base plate between the two cross beams, center sills(26) connected to the bolster at the front and back ends of the bolster, plural common joists(33) positioned above the base plate, and the floor(31) of a passenger cabin mounted on the common joists. In the area beyond the bolster toward the longitudinal end of the car body, the common joists exist near the width-direction-ends of the car body but do not exist near the center of width. 본 발명의 목적은 바닥의 진동에 의한 차내소음의 발생을 억제하는 것이다. 언더프레임(11)의 바닥판(23) 위에 복수의 장선(長線)(33, 34)을 거쳐 객실의 바닥(31)이 얹어져 있다. 대차의 진동이 중심핀(27), 장여(bolster)(25), 센터실, 바닥판(23), 장선(33, 34)을 거쳐 바닥(31)에 전달되어 바닥(23)을 진동시킨다. 장여(25)로부터 차체의 길이방향의 끝부의 장선(33, 34) 중, 차체의 폭방향 중앙부의 장선(34)은 없다. 이 때문에 차체의 길이방향의 끝부의 바닥(31)의 진동을 저감할 수 있다.
