PURPOSE: A method and a system for transceiving character images including voice are provided to mix the character images with voice, and to transmit a mail with the character images having mutually different voice, so that an incoming terminal receives the character images vividly. CONSTITUTION: Desired character images is downloaded to an originating mobile terminal(10) through the Internet connection. Voice is recorded in the originating mobile terminal(10). The downloaded character images are mixed with the recorded voice. The mixed character images and the recorded voice are transmitted to an incoming mobile terminal(13). The character images and the voice received in the incoming mobile terminal(13) are divided. The divided character images are displayed on a browser of the incoming mobile terminal(13) and the voice is outputted through a speaker. 본 발명은 캐릭터(Character) 메일에 관한 것으로, 특히 캐릭터 이미지와 음성을 합성하여 캐릭터 이미지가 음성을 발성하는데 적당하도록 한 음성을 포함한 캐릭터 이미지 송수신 시스템 및 송수신 방법에 관한 것이다. 이와 같은 음성을 포함한 캐릭터 이미지 송수신 시스템 및 송수신 방법은, 무선 인터넷에 접속하여 원하는 캐릭터 이미지를 발신측 단말기에 다운로드 받는 단계, 상기 발신측 단말기에 음성을 녹음시키는 단계, 상기 다운로드 받은 캐릭터 이미지와 녹음된 음성을 합성하는 단계, 상기 합성된 캐릭터 이미지와 녹음된 음성을 착신측 단말기에 송신하는 단계, 상기 착신 단말기에 수신된 캐릭터 이미지와 음성을 분리하는 단계, 상기 분리된 캐릭터 이미지가 상기 착신측 단말기 브라우저에 디스플레이 됨과 동시에 상기 음성이 스피커를 통해 출력되는 단계를 포함하여 이루어진다.
