PURPOSE: A device and a method for operating a toy robot using an e-mail are provided to make a toy robot operate by an operation file or the preset specific key words included in an e-mail. CONSTITUTION: The toy robot operating device comprise the specific type robots(213,223) operating the specific motion and languages according to a robot performance file or the preset key words, and displaying images on a displayer, the PCs(Personal Computers, 212,222) transmitting the robot performance file or the preset key words to the robots by reading and decoding the robot performance file or the preset key words included in an e-mail or informing a user of the performance data of the robots, and the e-mail servers(211,221) transmitting the e-mails written on the PCs to the Internet and transmitting the received e-mails from the Internet to the PCs. The robot performance file or the preset key words for performing the robots are formed as data for displaying the motion, force transfer, voice, sounds and images, messages or patterns of the robots. The PCs are connected with the robots through a wire/wireless communication. 본 발명은 전자 우편을 이용한 완구 구동 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로 특히, 전자 우편에 포함된 구동 파일이나 미리 약정된 특정 키워드 등에 의해 완구를 구동시키도록 함에 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적의 본 발명은 로봇 구동 파일 또는 미리 약정된 특정 키워드에 의해 운동/몸짓/힘의 전달/음성/음향 및 화상/문자의 디스플레이를 구현할 수 있는 특정 형태의 완구형 로봇(213/223)과, 전자 우편에 포함된 완구형 로봇 구동 파일, 미리 약정된 특정 키워드 등을 해독하여 상기 완구형 로봇(213/223)으로 전달하도록 유무선 통신 기능을 구비한 피씨(212/222)와, 상기 피씨(212/222)에서 작성한 전자 우편을 인터넷(200)으로 송신하고 그 인터넷(200)으로부터 수신한 전자 우편을 상기 피씨(212/222)로 전달하는 이메일 서버(211/221)로 구성한다.
