Summary:PURPOSE: Provided is a medicinal herb composition having anti-inflammatory effect obtained from Saururi Herba and Houttuyniae Herba. The composition is a safe anti-inflammatory agent without any side-effect even though chronic administration. CONSTITUTION: The medicinal herb composition having anti-inflammatory effect contains the extract of 2-4 part by weight of Saururi Herba and 1-2 part by weight of Houttuyniae Herba, as an active ingredient. It can be formulated into powders, granules, capsules and tablets. Its dose is 1-10g and orally administered 1-3 times per day. 본 발명은 삼백초 및 어성초로부터 얻어지는 항염 효과가 있는 생약 조성물에 관한 것으로, 삼백초(三白草; Saururi Herba) 2∼4 중량부 및 어성초(魚腥草; Houttuyniae Herba) 1∼2 중량부의 혼합물을 물로 추출한 것을 유효 성분으로 하는 본 발명의 생약 조성물은, 삼백초나 어성초 각각을 복용하는 것에 비해 그 효과가 상승적으로 나타나며, 특히 일정 기간 동안 복용할 경우 우수한 항염 효과를 가지므로, 본 생약 조성물은 장기간 계속적으로 복용하여도 부작용이 없는 안전한 항염제 등으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
