Summary:PURPOSE: A tundish sealing nozzle of the present invention is capable of uniform sealing of inert gases such as argon or nitrogen, which are supplied inside tundish for creating non-oxidative atmosphere, and further it can buffer nitrogen pickup and eruption pressure in continuous casting. CONSTITUTION: A body(20) is installed at one end of a pipe, which is penetrably installed through a tundish cover. The body has a hollow part(21) therein, and plural snail-shaped holes(22) are formed in the body. Once an inert gas supplied through the pipe is introduced into the hollow part, the inert gas is erupted into tundish through each snail-shaped hole(22) where vortex is formed as passing through the snail shaped hole. By the vortex, buffer effect for eruption pressure is achieved, and thus accomplish uniform sealing of the tundish.
