Summary: | The head drum can be mounted to a main base 110, such that the height of the head drum assembly can be conveniently regulated with respect to the main base. The drum base is a doughnut-shaped plate 140, the radially outer side of which has through-holes 145, and the radially inner side being fixed to the head drum assembly. Resilient members 150, corresponding to the through-holes 145, of the drum base are provided between the main base and the drum base. Screws 144, are inserted into the corresponding through-holes of the drum base, through the resilient members and are threadedly engaged with the main base. The height of the drum head assembly at positions which correspond to where the magnetic tape starts and finishes winding around the upper and lower drums 126 and 124, is regulated by fastening or loosening the screws. Furthermore, vibrations or impacts applied to the head drum assembly can be absorbed by the resiliant members , thereby improving the screen quality. |
