Summary:PURPOSE: A device and a method for supplying high quality moving picture through network are provided to enable a user to search video data according to his taste easily by loading a software decoder on a server of game room or video room and transmitting video data in real time mode or in downloading mode. CONSTITUTION: A web server(11) records high quality moving picture data processed with MPEG(moving picture experts group)-2, 4. A supplier server(10) includes a database server(12). An entrepreneur server(20) includes a software decoder for receiving the high quality of moving picture data in real time mode or in downloading mode from the web server(11) and the database server(12). A plurality of user PC(personal computer)(30) is connected with the entrepreneur server(20) in point-to-point mode or in multi-point mode, and replays the high quality of moving picture.
