PURPOSE: A reverse rotation prevention apparatus for scroll compressor is provided to prevent collision noise and abrasion of parts by avoiding collision between components caused due to the reverse rotation of the scroll compressor. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a stopper member formed at a swirling scroll which is coupled between a main frame and a fixed scroll and performs swirling motion by the driving force output from a motor; and a stopping member mounted to the main frame to be movable in a linear manner, and which gets caught at the stopping member upon reverse rotation of the swirling scroll so as to prevent the reverse rotation of the swirling scroll. The stopper member is constituted by a plurality of grooves formed in a single direction at the outer periphery of a boss portion(8b) of the swirling scroll. The stopping member includes a plurality of sliding grooves(2d) formed at the inner wall of an insertion hole of the main frame for accommodating the boss portion of the swirling scroll; a slider(20) inserted into sliding grooves; and a spring(21) inserted into sliding grooves, and which elastically supports the slider in such a manner that the slider elastically contacts the boss portion of the swirling scroll. 본 발명은 스크롤 압축기의 역회전 방지장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명은 메인 프레임과 고정스크롤사이에 결합되어 모터의 구동력을 전달받아 선회 운동하는 선회스크롤에 형성되는 걸림수단과 상기 메인 프레임에 직선 움직임 가능하도록 장착되어 상기 선회스크롤의 역회전 발생시 상기 걸림수단에 걸려 선회스크롤의 역회전을 방지하는 걸기수단을 포함하도록 구성하여 압축기의 정상 중 정지시 선회스크롤의 보스부에 구비된 걸림수단에 메인 프레임에 장착된 걸이수단이 걸려 선회스크롤의 역방향 선회운동을 방지함으로써 선회스크롤과 연동되는 부품들 사이의 충돌을 방지하여 충돌 소음 및 부품의 마모에 의한 파손을 방지할 수 있도록 한 것이다.
