PURPOSE: A method for on-line consultation is provided to accomplish the consultation between a user and an advertiser by transmitting user information to the advertiser with the consent of the user in case that the user applies for consultation for the advertiser's advertising matters on the Internet web site. CONSTITUTION: If a user applies for consultation on the Internet web site, the web site displays the user information to be transferred to an advertiser. The applicant carries out revision or deletion for the displayed information and determines to transmit user information. If the applicant consents to the transmission of the user information, the web site judges whether the advertiser is in the connected state. In case that the advertiser is in the connected state, the web site displays the total number of stand-by applicants to the applicant and asks whether the user will go on with the on-line consultation application or not. In case that the advertiser is not in the connected state, the web site sends the determined user information to the advertiser by e-mail. If the applicant doesn't want to go on with the on-line consultation application, the web site proceeds with telephone consultation.
