Summary:PURPOSE: To efficiently supply an ejection recording liquid through a supply pipe 2. CONSTITUTION: In the case where the inside of the supply pipe 2 is not hydrophilic as shown in FIG. 3 (a), air permeated through the supply pipe 2 wall forms bubbles 10 so as to adhere on the inner surface of the supply pipe 2 and disturb the ejection recording liquid flow. In contrast, in the case where the inner surface of the supply pipe 2 is treated to be hydrophilic so as to provide a hydrophilic surface 9 as shown in FIG. 3 (b), since the ejection recording liquid is introduced along the hydrophilic surface 9 in the art with the bubbles 10 adhered on the inner surface of the supply pipe 2, the area of the bubbles 10 adhered on the inner surface of the supply pipe 2 can be made smaller so that the bubbles 10 are separated from the inner surface of the supply pipe 2. Therefore, according to the ejection recording liquid flow at the time of supplying the ejection recording liquid, the bubbles 10 can be eliminated easily so that disturbance of the ejection recording liquid flow by the bubbles 10 can be prohibited.
