Summary:PURPOSE: A system for selecting information on the Internet is provided to select information and contents required by a user on the Internet site. CONSTITUTION: A system for selecting information on the Internet includes a contents control unit(10) for controlling an object-oriented screen control unit(11), a selection control unit(12) and a tool bar(13) in order to select parts of information and contents on an Internet site. The tool bar(13) consists of a site location window, a select button, a screen size control button, a display button, a delete button, a restore button, an add button, and a forward/backward screen scroll button. The selection control unit(12) discriminates blocked information on the Internet. The screen control unit(11) controls the size of a screen.
