Summary:PURPOSE: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing an antifogging film having an antifogging layer on a substrate film comprising a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION: This method for manufacturing an antifogging film comprises applying a substrate film continuously being fed from a substrate film forming device with a liquid containing an antifogging agent and forming a layer containing the antifogging agent therein by continuously removing a medium liquid contained in the applied antifogging agent containing liquid. Rolling of the substrate film should not be done before the application of the antifogging agent.
