Summary:PURPOSE: A method for controlling fungus and insects by use of aryl cyclopropyl oxime ether compounds and a composition containing these compounds as much as an antifungal amount or a bactericidal amount is provided. These compounds exhibit fungicidal and insecticidal characteristics in a wide range. CONSTITUTION: Novel cyclopropyl oxime ethers of formula(I) such as N-methyl 2-£2-(5-trans-(2-phenylcyclopropyl)-4-methyl-2,7-dioxa-3,6-diazaocta-3,5-diene-1-nyl)phenyl|-2-methoxyiminoacetamide or N-methyl 2-£2-(5-trans-(2-(4-chlorophenyl)cyclopropyl)-4-methyl-2,7-diox-3,6-diazaocta-3,5-diene- 1-nyl)phenyl|-2-methoxyiminoacetamide are prepared. An agriculturally acceptable carrier may be mixed with the compounds in a ratio of 99:1 to 1:5 to control phytopathological fungus. For this purpose, the compounds are sprayed in a ratio of 0.005 to 50Kg per hectare.
