Summary:PURPOSE: A method and device for detecting cornering of vehicle is provided to correctly detect the curved of the vehicle regardless of break interference and road friction coefficient for left and right wheel. CONSTITUTION: In the method for detecting curved traveling of a vehicle or for obtaining a lateral acceleration(ay) of the vehicle, a signal for displaying the curved traveling of the vehicle and a scale relative to the radius of curvature or the lateral acceleration(ay) of the vehicle are obtained on at least each one side of the vehicle by using standard velocities(vS,vSL,vSR), and the standard velocities(vS,vSL,vSR) on one side of the vehicle are determined in dependence on deceleration of at least one wheel on the side of the vehicle. 본 발명은 차량의 코너링을 감지하기 위한 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 차량의 코너링을 감지하기 위한 또는 차량의 횡방향 가속도(a)를 결정하기 위한 방법 및 장치에서, 커브 반경 또는 차량의 횡방향 가속도(a)에 대한 기준이 되는 차량의 코너링을 나타내는 신호가 차량의 각각의 적어도 일 측면에 대한 기준 속도(V, V, V)를 이용하여 결정되며, 차량 일 측면의 기준 속도(V, V, V)가 차량의 상기 측면의 적어도 하나의 휠의 감속에 따라서 결정된다.
