Summary: | PURPOSE: An apparatus for coding/decoding an image signal in a three-dimension is provided to reduce a capacitance of a frame memory when a two-dimensional DCT data is converted to three-dimensional DCT data, or the three-dimensional DCT data is converted to the two-dimensional DCT data. CONSTITUTION: A two-dimensional DCT part(12) DCT-converts two-dimensional data about an input data sequentially input from a frame memory. A compressing coder(13) converts the converted data to a compressed data, and stores it in frame memories(14A,14B) every predetermined frame. A compressing decoder(15) decodes an input data transmitted from the frame memories(14A,14B) as a shape before a data compressing. A three-dimensional DCT part(16) DCT-converts the two-dimensional data from the compressing decoder(15) in the direction of a time axis. A compressing coder(17) codes the two-dimensional data as a compressed shape. |
