Summary:PURPOSE: A waterproof agent for aqueous acrylic rubber-based film useable in the production of construction and civil engineering works materials is provided to enhance water-resistance and chemical-resistance by using acrylic rubber having saturated carbon bonding structure and stereostructural carboxy groups as an elastomer. CONSTITUTION: The waterproof agent comprises a dispersion made by mixing 100 weight parts of acrylic rubber selected from vinylacetate butylacrylate emulsion copolymer, ethylacrylate emulsion homopolymer or laurylmethacrylate emulsion homopolymer, 50-60 weight parts of methylmethacrylate acrylic acid emulsion copolymer and 20-30 weight parts of urethane emulsion polymer; adding 30-40 weight parts of filler and agitating the mixture, and 5-7 weight parts of pigment, 3-5 weight parts of plasticizer, 2-3 weight parts of dispersing agent, 1-3 weight parts of foaming agent, 0.05-0.10 weight parts of antiseptic substance, 0.3-0.8 weight parts of thickener, 3-5 weight parts of reinforcing agent, 3-5 weight parts of stabilizer and 0.5-0.8 weight parts of anti-ageing agent.
