PURPOSE: A method for controlling a cursor position is provided to display a cursor on broadcasting program entirely in the case that a cursor is moved toward the left and the lower directions in a predetermined broadcasting program being located in a boundary of a guiding display and to move a cursor on a program most duplicated in the prior program out of moveable programs in the case that a cursor is moved toward the upper and the lower directions in the predetermined broadcasting program. CONSTITUTION: In a method for displaying a broadcasting program guide of a predetermined time, a moving key is displayed toward a remaining portion on a broadcasting program not displaying entireness thereof. A broadcasting program guide displaying the entire program is displayed by pressing the left or the right moving key in a program of a predetermined position displaying a cursor, and the cursor is displayed on the corresponding program. A cursor is moved to a broadcasting program of another channel corresponded to the current broadcasting program by pressing the upper or the lower moving key in a predetermined program position.
