Summary:PURPOSE: A managing method of a temperature on a surface of a roll and its device are provided to exactly manage the temperature. CONSTITUTION: A managing device of a temperature on a surface of a roll comprises a contacting plate (2) moved with the roll (3) by contacting with the surface of the roll; supporting rolls (5) to stick the contacting plate with the roll; a device (6) to measure the temperature on the surface of the roll; and a cooling/heating device (1) to cool or to heat the contacting plate according to a signal from the temperature measurer. The cooling/heating device heats the contacting plate when the temperature is lower than a predetermined value. The heated contacting plate increases the temperature by contacting with the roll (3). Otherwise, the heating/cooling device cools the contacting plate and the temperature is decreased.
