PURPOSE: A network connection device is provided to construct a simple and flexible network system and to allow a user to easily utilize the device. CONSTITUTION: A network connection device is provided with first interface parts(5-1,5-2,5-n) composed of at least one type of physical layers for being connected to an external network, second interface parts(6-1,6-2,6-n) composed of a plurality of types of physical layers for being connected to an internal network and a controlling part(2) controlling the first and second interface parts(5-1,5-2,5-n,6-1,6-2,6-n), and the part(2) transmits and receives information between the first interface parts(5-1,5-2,5-n) and the second interface parts(6-1,6-2,6-n) or through between the second interface parts(6-1,6-2,6-n). 본 발명은 네트워크 접속 장치에 있어서, 외부 네트워크에 접속하기 위한 적어도 한 종류의 물리층으로 이루어지는 제1 인터페이스부(5)와, 내부 네트워크에 접속하기 위한 다수 종류의 물리층으로 이루어지는 제2 인터페이스부(6)와, 제1 인터페이스부(5)와 제2 인터페이스부(6)를 제어하는 제어부(2)를 구비하고, 제어부(2)는 제1 인터페이스부(5)와 제2 인터페이스부(6)의 사이 및 제2 인터페이스부(6) 사이에서 정보의 송수신을 행하는 구성을 갖는다.
