Summary: | PURPOSE: A water-saving type bathtub is provided to control the water level of a bathtub at a regular level automatically with an operating valve operated by a buoyancy room installed to one side of the bathtub. CONSTITUTION: A water-saving bathtub(1) comprises: a buoyancy room(37) provided with two floats(6) connected to the lower end of seesawing level bars and a water supplying/draining hole connected to a sewage hole(35) under the bathtub; a water passing/intercepting valve(V) provided with a through hole(42) bored to coincide with the water supplying/draining hole of the buoyancy room, a drainage hole(44) at the center of an upper head part(43) and a float(45) sinking and floating by waterpower; a float height adjusting unit(38) covered by an inner cover(18) and an outer cover(17) screwed to a projected ring(16) under a water outlet body, coupled to the top of the buoyancy room(37) with vertical height adjusting bolts(13,13') and a nut(12) to couple both top ends of the buoyancy room to a lower pin formed on the lower part of the lower height adjusting bolt(13') to be rotated rightward and leftward; an automatic water level controlling valve unit(15), whose top is connected in the water outlet body of the inner top of the lower projected ring(16) by a screw thread(27), provided with a valve groove(22) at the upper center, an operating valve(23) of the top of a vertical valve shaft(19) connected with the upper height adjusting bolt(13) installed to be operated on the valve groove by a ring(14), and a secondary water discharge way(21) between supporting shafts(20) on the horizontal center; a main outlet operating unit(40) coupled to the corresponding location to the valve unit of the water outlet body by a screw thread(28) and provided with a projected pin(30) reciprocating along a pin groove(31) in a vertical hole(39) of a handle body(29) having the L-shaped inclined pin groove and a compressive valve shaft(32) attached with a compressive valve(33); and buoyancy room covers(46) at the top of the floats(6) on both sides of the buoyancy room(37).
욕조(1)의 출수부 본체(26)아래측에서 부구 높이 조절부(38)에 의해 부구의 높이가 조절되고 욕조(1)의 수력에 의해 승강되는 부구(6)(6')가 설치된 부력실(37)에 의하여 자동수위조절 밸브부(15)의 밸브(23)를 개폐토록하므로써 자동으로 욕조의 수위를 조절할 수 있고, 메인 출수 개폐부(40)를 출수부 본체(26)의 상기 자동수위 조절 밸브부(15) 상부에 설치하므로써 욕조를 사용치 않고 샤워만을 사용시에는 출수를 개폐할 수 있게한 절수형 욕조이다. |
