Summary:PURPOSE: A fan motor assembly improves the cooling efficiency of a motor and suction performance of a cleaner by placing a rotary fan behind the motor to make the air sucked from a dust chamber to an air passage room pass the inside of the motor first. CONSTITUTION: A fan motor assembly comprises a motor(50), a centrifugal rotary fan(60), a radial fan housing(62). The motor(50) has an inlet port(52a) directly connected with a dust chamber(20a) formed on one side thereof and a motor housing(52) with an exhaust outlet(52b) formed in the opposite side to the inlet port(52a). The rotary fan(60) is installed to the side of the exhaust outlet(52b) side of the motor housing(52) to suck air in the dust chamber(20a) through the exhaust outlet(52a). The fan housing(20a) with the diameter thereof gradually increasing covers the rotary fan(60) and has a discharge outlet(62a) formed on one side thereof. As the air passing the motor(50) and moving freely in the fan housing(62) has an efficient moving condition of scroll form to improve the suction performance of a cleaner.
