Summary:PURPOSE: Provided is a method for simply manufacturing processed foods such as amber juice, jam, and soup, from fully ripe pumpkin, in a short time by mashing it and additionally adding fibers produced from filtration process thereto and mixing pulp and water or pulp and sugar. CONSTITUTION: Processed foods are manufactured from fully ripe pumpkins by the steps of: i) selecting fully ripe pumpkins having high-level sugar; ii) mashing the selected pumpkins to obtain juice containing minute fibers and storing additional pulps; iii) sterilizing and wrapping the turbid juice for sale: iv) filtering the turbid juice to manufacture clear juice: v) manufacturing a processed food for pumpkin soup by mixing fibers obtained from the filtration process, with pumpkin juice, water, and pulp: vi) adding sugar, salt, rice flour, sweet rice powder, and red beans to the processed food to make pumpkin soup: vii) manufacturing a processed food for pumpkin jam by mixing mashed pumpkin with pulp and sugar; and viii) adding additional sugar to the processed food to make pumpkin jam.
